I often wonder what the fear mongers, hate regurgitating cowards, homophobes, racists and bigots, who comprise the minority but still spew their venom through the Reich wing, corporate owned propaganda media, would do if we the majority became as angry at them, as they are at everything?

The United States Constitution and Bill of Rights has been their protection to now, but over the past eight years, those documents were shredded by the republiCANTs and bush regime, in their almost successful effort to bring fascism to our Nation.

Ironically, the restoration of that Constitutional protection now lies in the hands of our new African American President, Barrack Obama and a Democratic Congress who I hope will begin that process without further delay, despite the fact that even those internal enemies of our country might also benefit from restoring our Constitution and rule of law.

Totally scrap the so called “Patriot act”, restore Habeus Corpus, “posse comitatus”, State governors control of the National Guard also stop rendition of prisoners to countries that torture and the continuing militarizing of our police departments, dissolve the American Gestapo called “Department of Homeland Security” and thoroughly investigate any crimes committed by the bush regime, war profiteers, financial institutions and prosecute those persons involved, regardless of their position.

Whether done through Congress, a Presidential directive or Court, these are priorities, in my opinion, if we are to ever recover from the affects of the most destructive, traitorous presidential regime in our short history as a Nation.    Lew
